Somehow we have managed to get through a year-long pandemic period, with many countries being in lockdown, working from home, taking care of children, buying food and groceries online, managing domestic chores and above all, being in an environment of stress, anxiety, worry and despair.

On top of that, constant talk of COVID-19 on the news has been taking over our mind. What’s happening? What’s going on? What actually is COVID-19? There is so much to know and fathom while taking care of our health.

All of us went through a very hard time. Nearly 11 months successfully passed by and now while running on our 12th month, there’s a sigh of relief due to the launch of the Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine.

We’re now hopeful that we’ve found a cure and there’s no need to panic any more. But perhaps, we may ponder sometimes, why we couldn’t work on such healthcare standards much earlier so that more lives could be saved? We have futurists, philanthropists, scientists, pandemic specialists who could have predicted and taken effective measures for a better scope of health.

However, with this unforgettable experience, all we can hope for is that in the future, we’ll be safe with more advanced technologies, science, medicine and education.

One of the major side effects of this pandemic that led everybody to struggle is loneliness, missing communication with our loved ones and socializing less, which has caused mental health issues among some people. There are many good remedies to surpass this problem, hence in this article, we are going to recommend a few effective tips to stay physically and mentally fit.

1. Stay Active

Perform any of your favourite activities early in the morning, be it watering the plants, cooking breakfast, spending time with your children or having a conversation with your parents or anyone else-make it the first part of your daily routine. If you spend your first hour of the day like this, you will be in high spirits throughout the whole day.

2. Play Music

Let others see and participate as well. Communication is important in order to stay connected with friends and family.

5. Watch Movies

There is no prescribed time for watching movies and there are plenty of entertaining movies online. Be it in a regional language or international, choose a good movie to sit and watch together with your family. It’s quite relaxing to spend some time together and also important to keep your spirits high.

6. Donate Online

There are many charity organizations that are working on supplies of food and clothing to help people who may be struggling during this pandemic period. Any amount that you donate online to these voluntary organizations helps them to supply free meals in various locations. World Food Programme (WFP), Operation Blessing, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are only a few examples of organizations that are helping people.
